New Adventure

I have recently started college again. This time I am going into photography. I am into my 7th week of classes and learned a lot more than I thought I would and doing better than I expected. I have decided that since surgery that I could not work that I would start a new journey in life. My husband has supported me more than anyone I know and our children like the fact that mom is back in school while they are in school. I have so much time on my hands that I thought I can do this and spend time with my family, so I am doing on line courses. So now with all my crafts that I do I will now be able to add my photos to my blog as well. I really hope you all like what will be in store with my new journey. Valentines Day Crafts.

I am starting my Valentine's Day crafts. I will not be doing much do to the fact I wont be able to take them down. As a reminder I will be having surgery on 12 February. I really hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day. I will be living it up in the hospital. I will post the pictures as soon as I am done with them. I will just update this post instead of writing a new blog, just so you know. I am new at blogging so this will take a few times of getting use to please work with me on this. <3 Cindy

Well we are now into the new year. I have not been doing much of anything except crocheting headbands. I will be on hold of doing a lot of the things I would love to do next month due to having back surgery. I really hope all of my readers don't give up on me. I will be back to doing my projects as soon as I can. I am hoping to be doing projects before I go in for surgery. I have about 3 1/2 weeks before surgery. So I really hope to have a project done. Thank you all for reading my blog. 

Well, I have finished my sons Military base felt mat. I am going to add pictures so everyone can see my final project. I have made a bunch of other things that I can put on here as well. It took me 3 days to get it how I wanted it. First day was mostly planning it out and getting it laid out and making sure I had everything like I wanted it. The 2nd day was gluing everything down. The third day was adding the finishing touches on it. With them being at my moms I had time to get it done! I really dont know what I would of done if they were not there. We did a family Christmas with my side of the family and he opened it up there and this was the best present I think I could ever have given him. Good to know that 3 days working on it paid off!!! If he goes to my moms he has it with him when hes here its always playing with it. When he goes to my sisters he has it with him as well. I'm just glad it was well worth it. I am just glad that 3 days of bending over the thing in the floor is done as well. I made a note to self that if I do another one I will take over the table and do it on there or my husband is going to have to build me a table big enough for my craft room. With back problems its really bad to be bending over it in the floor. My daughter is now wanting one for girls. So have to do some hard thinking on this one. I was not a girly girl and she is so now its training for me. Ok, I guess its time for the picture of the mat so you can see what I have made. 

This is the mat!!! Just a few things I thought of while being in the military and my husband doing 14 yrs he also helped come up with some of the things that needed to be on there. Just mainly the necessary things like housing, schools, park, hospital, police, fire dept, headquarters, vet, commissary, exchange, food court, post office, church, and mini mall, and of course the motor pool for him to work on his military vehicles. Just had a lot of fun doing this.

I have also made a few more things like hair bows. I have made big hair bows for bigger girls and baby bows for your babies. The baby bows also work for you animals that you dress up. I will post pics of them as well. 

I also do some crocheting I have made head bands, scarfs, and started an afghan. I am going to try a stocking cap and a stocking. We will have to see how they turn out. I will post pics of what I have finished. I really enjoy crafting. 

I have 2 other colors just could not find the pics of them. I have made bow holders. I will put those pics up as well.

I make candles which are so much fun to do as well. I will put up some of the ones I have made.

These last 2 pics that I am going to post are my decorations for fall and Halloween that I did.  I made the hat and put the center piece together.

Christmas

As we all know Christmas is just around the corner. I have been doing a lot of crafts these past few weeks from candles to bows to crocheting headbands. Fixing to start a new project in the morning. I am going to try to make a felt car mat from my son. We will see how it turns out. I might even try my hand at making an easel for my oldest son who likes to draw and paint. Not sure if I will make that one just have to see how it will be. I have to get all my crafting cleaning and packing done before Monday. I have a discogram on Monday so I might be posting a lot on here not sure yet. And as soon as that is over I will be traveling to my moms which is 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive. That should be interesting. Anyway I will get pictures posted on here with my bows, headbands, candles and this felt car mat. Just wanted to post on here real quick about a few things I have done.
